Well, day 4 of our family vacation has come to a close and what a great day it was. Last night after a quick trip to one of our favorite places, Chick-Fil-A, Austin fell fast asleep in the car. I was able to carry him up to our condo, undress him, change his diaper and put him in his pj's without waking him up. To our surprise, he went to bed for the night. In the morning, staying true to his schedule, Austin woke up at 6 a.m. on the dot. Luckily we were able to feed him some yogurt, lay him down in bed with us and he slept in until 8:45. We were very excited that he gave us a nice morning to sleep in.
Unfortunately the Florida weather has not been cooperating with us exactly. Yesterday it rained all day and today it called for the same. Upon waking up this morning, we were greeted by thunderstorms. We all took our time getting ready but decided to stick to our original plan of heading to New Smyrna Beach to spend the day with my family. Although the skies looked sketchy, it turned out perfect. Austin and Nate did great with just a short nap in the car and a late dinner. Neither one acted crabby all day long and we got to hang out at the beach and enjoy the warm, but not too hot, weather.

All in all it was a great day, the sun was not out so we didn't have to worry about the little ones getting too hot or sunburned. Austin really enjoyed playing with Nate and his cousins, and loved being spoiled by Aunt Karen and Uncle Eugene. As for the weather, it calls for another rainy day tomorrow so we will have to wait to see what we are going to do.
